Hometown Shower

The second shower given in your honor was held on Saturday, March 29th, 2014 in Wichita Falls. It took place at Ganache Cupcake Lounge and it was so fancy, dainty, and sweet!

The hostesses were some wonderful friends of mine and Grandma Barad's. Hostesses were Laura Andrajack, Donna Brumbalow, Paula Dobbs, Bery Nix, Cheryl Pappan, Kelli Patterson, and Julie Pruett. These ladies really know how to throw a baby shower. We had fancy cupcakes - strawberry with cream cheese frosting and chocolate sea salt caramel along hors d'oeuvres like breakfast pizza and cucumber sandwiches. It was perfectly suited for a fancy little girl like yourself. I also had a special bar to make a yummy alcohol free "mimosa".

There were so many people who came to celebrate you! Everyone had a wonderful time and to say that you are spoiled is an understatement. Here are some pictures of your gifts. Daddy had to pack the truck to the brim to get it all home!

I spent hours writing over 60 "thank you" notes for all of the gifts we received. We are abundantly blessed with the most wonderful family and friends. They can't wait to meet you and I hope that you always understand just how loved you are.

Dad and I went to get your carseats this week with all of the gift cards from your showers! I did some bargain shopping and we were able to buy you TWO of the top of the line carseats from Buy Buy Baby. Your dad insists that you have the best of the best in order to keep you safe while in the car or truck.

Our special friend, Linda Gladu made you a stunning quilt! She created the pattern for you - it's one of a kind, just like you. I think it is the most beautiful quilt I've ever seen!

You also have an official "coming home" outfit now. I hope you love it! You will be stunning in this beautiful pink gown.
